Promoter The promoter is Temora Shire Council, acting as the administrator of the Canola Trail partnership (ABN 55 048 860 109) of 105 Loftus Street, Temora NSW 2666.
Promotion Period Promotion runs from 8:00am (AEST) Monday 20 July 2026 until 5:00pm (AEST) 21 August 2026.
Eligibility Open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter, participating prize partners and their immediate families are ineligible.
How to Enter Visit https://canolatrail.com.au/, complete the online form and answer in 25 words or less: ‘Tell us how or why yellow brings you joy.’ One entry per person.
Eligible Entries Only complete eligible entries submitted during the Promotional Period will be judged. The Promoter may verify eligibility and identity.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, illegible or corrupted entries due to technical or other reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
Game of Skill This is a game of skill. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality and relevance. Chance plays no part.
Judging Judging will occur at 10:00am (AEST) on 24 August 2026 at Temora Shire Council. Decisions are final.
Prize One prize package valued at approximately $2,150 (AUD) comprising accommodation, experiences and vouchers from Temora Aviation Museum, Silos Accommodation, Coolamon Hotel, Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory (JLCF), Harberton House, Drovers Run Marrar, Coolamon Cheese.
Travel & Prize Conditions Unless expressly stated, all ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize, including travel, fuel, meals, insurance and personal expenses, are the responsibility of the winner.
Prize components are supplied by participating Canola Trail partners and are subject to each prize provider’s individual booking conditions, availability and terms of use. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to comply with those conditions.
Unless otherwise advised by the individual prize provider, all prize components must be redeemed within 6 months of the winner being notified. Expired prize components will not be replaced or extended. Booking availability is subject to each participating business.
Winner Notification Winner notified by email by 31 August 2026.
The Promoter may require the winner to provide proof of identity, age and Australian residency before awarding the prize. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in forfeiture of the prize.
Winner Publication Winner’s first name, surname initial and State/Territory may be published on Canola Trail channels from 1 September 2026.
Unclaimed Prize If the winner does not respond within ten (10) days of the Promoter’s first notification, the prize will be deemed unclaimed and the Promoter will conduct the unclaimed prize judging in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Prize Conditions Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Substitutions of equal or greater value may occur if necessary.
Disqualification The Promoter may disqualify entrants for fraudulent, misleading, automated or offensive entries.
Entrant Warranties Entrants warrant their submission is original and lawful.
Intellectual Property Entrants grant the Promoter and Canola Trail partners a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use their entries for promotional purposes, including editing, adapting and publishing the entry in any media.
Privacy Personal information collected as part of this competition will be used for administering the competition, contacting entrants, awarding the prize and, where entrants have opted in, providing future Canola Trail marketing communications. Personal information will be managed in accordance with Temora Shire Council’s Privacy Management Plan. Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting Temora Shire Council.
Marketing Communications By selecting the newsletter opt-in, entrants consent to receiving future Canola Trail marketing communications. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.
Publicity The winner may be invited to participate in promotional activities. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable promotional activities requested by the Promoter, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Liability Nothing excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for technical failures, lost entries or events beyond its control.
Force Majeure Prize components may be substituted, rescheduled or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.
Cancellation The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the promotion where necessary and subject to applicable laws.
Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
Acceptance Entry constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
